Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited in Bristol is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Systems Manager to lead the company’s IT and infrastructure. You will be the sole technical lead initially, responsible for architecture, end-to-end delivery, and ensuring reliable systems.

The role requires a proactive individual with current skills across Windows environments, M365, Intune, EntraID, MS Defender, networking, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Must be hands-on with IT infrastructure and able to lead from the front.
• Experience managing Windows environments and enterprise IT setups.
• Ability to make architecture decisions and drive end-to-end projects.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end IT infrastructure and drive direction/architecture decisions.
• Lead end-to-end project management and implementation across systems.
• Hands-on maintenance and escalation as the company scales.

You should be someone that can work independently.

You will be a team of one for now, with overarching responsibility for the IT and Infrastructure within the company.

They are at a crucial point of growth, and expect to expand rapidly in the near future so there will be lots of opportunity to grow within the company.

They are looking for someone experienced enough to be able to lead the function, make critical decisions on Infrastructure, and be experienced to respectfully challenge if something is not the right solution.

This role requires current and up to date skills, so you will need to be hands on the tools, with the ability or experience of team leadership as the company scales.
