Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the UK seeks an experienced IT M&A Manager/Senior Manager to lead technology due diligence, deal closure, and Day 2 transformation across complex mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, partnering with clients throughout the deal cycle.

The role combines deep tech and strategic oversight: enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ERP (SAP, Oracle), cybersecurity, and technology-led value creation.

Qualifications

• Evidence of leading IT M&A engagements and driving outcomes.
• Expertise in IT due diligence, integration and separation planning for high-value deals.
• Strong technical and strategic knowledge: enterprise IT architecture, cloud, cybersecurity, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT M&A offer and build capability within the ITP team; support market unit teams with conversations and proposals.
• Lead technology assessments of IT infrastructure, apps, cybersecurity, cloud environments and digital platforms to uncover risks and integration challenges.
• Lead post-merger integration strategies: harmonise IT operating models, consolidate ERP, plan cloud migrations and design roadmaps.
• Lead tech carve-outs and separations: TSAs, data migration, regulatory and security compliance during divestitures.
• Provide leadership on emerging technologies: AI, analytics, cybersecurity, cloud-native architectures; align with client investment thesis and long-term strategy.
• Advise clients on translating technical findings into commercial insights and inform negotiation strategies to maximise deal value.
