Job summary

TREAT-NMD Alliance Ltd is seeking an IT & Systems Manager responsible for delivering secure, resilient IT systems across the organisation. You will own the IT roadmap, manage the support function, and lead the Azure/AWS environments while guiding information security and compliance activities.

The role combines hands-on delivery with strategic governance, including budget ownership, supplier management and cross‑functional collaboration to support researchers and project aims.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable line management within the most recent 5 year period.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in IT support, infrastructure or systems roles, including time at senior, lead or supervisory level.
• Experience owning or substantially running an IT estate, ideally in a small or lean team.
• Strong hands-on Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with Entra ID / Active Directory, user management, group policy and OU structure.
• Experience supporting Windows 10 and 11 desktop environments.
• Practical experience of cloud environments — Azure and/or AWS.
• Working knowledge of information security practice and a recognised framework such as ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Own the ICT estate, access, logs and replacements, and the Azure/AWS environments.
• Lead the ISO 27001 accreditation, policy implementation and audits.
• Manage budgets, supplier relationships and compliance.
• Translate developer and supplier language into actionable guidance for colleagues.
