Bulk is hiring an IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer in Colchester. You will oversee Bulk’s IT infrastructure (on‑prem and cloud) and security posture, ensuring reliable, secure configuration and incident response. The role blends hands‑on management with strategic improvement and governance of AI tooling.

You will partner with senior leadership to optimise security controls, toolsets and compliance while supporting growth and AI adoption across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Certifications in security (CISSP/CISM/CompTIA) are beneficial.
• 3+ years in infrastructure and security management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design, and maintenance of Bulk’s IT infrastructure (on‑premises and cloud).
• Lead security measures, threat monitoring, and incident response lifecycle.
• Manage AI tooling setup and integrations with governance and access control.
• Coordinate with leadership to optimize tooling, processes, and compliance.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support and guidance to the Service Desk.
