Job summary

Office Collective in London (Hammersmith) seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the global infrastructure programme. You will shape strategy, deliver solutions, and coach a team of seven direct reports across time zones.

You’ll manage budget, KPIs, and ITIL processes while collaborating with senior stakeholders to align technology with business goals. A strong production tech background and executive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar IT infrastructure management role.
• Experience in ITIL-based environments is essential.
• Proven ability to set KPIs and meet or exceed SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure and desktop strategy with senior stakeholders.
• Oversee all IT infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization, desktop, database, print, media/files, directory services and messaging.
• Lead, motivate and develop the infrastructure team across time zones.
• Assist with procurement and implementation of IT systems.
• Stay current with desktop trends and evaluate business impact.
• Maintain records and manage the technology budget for maximum ROI.

Job description

• To £85k + bonus + exceptional benefits and working conditions
• Media/production technology background preferred
• The role is responsible for the technical management of all IT infrastructure and desktop technology
• Hammersmith

This management role will be working with a team of initially 7 direct reports across multiple time zones and will be responsible for shaping, planning and delivering our global infrastructure programme and creating specific strategic goals to develop and implement improvement.

This role will not only be responsible for delivering infrastructure solutions, but will be responsible for coaching and developing the infrastructure team, managing stakeholder expectations and actively contributing to the implementation of ITIL good practice across the technology group.

Key Duties:

• Work with senior stake holders and parallel departments to develop the infrastructure and desktop strategy
• Responsible for all IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualisation, desktop, database, print, media/file, directory services and messaging.
• Lead, motivate and manage and develop the infrastructure team
• Assist with developing, implementing and procurement of IT systems
• Keep up to date with desktop trends and see how the trends can improve the business
• Adhere to record keeping responsibilities
• Manage the technology budget carefully to ensure maximum return

Requirements - Technical

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience working in an ITIL based environment is essential
• Strong knowledge of all technology infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualisation, desktop, database, print, media/file, directory services and messaging with recognised technology certification expected.
• Experience of setting KPIs and achieving and exceeding SLA’s
