An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-performing and high-profile client based in the Bristol/Bath region. They have embarked upon a number of large and complex technology transformation initiatives and are seeking a seasoned, confident, and reliable IT Infrastructure Manager to support their teams.

Your new role

As the Infrastructure Manager, you will work alongside the wider technology and transformation team to lead the delivery of digital infrastructure components end to end. You will have a number of direct reports who will specialize in their own verticals and will liaise effectively with third-party suppliers, ensuring their delivery aligns with the business objectives. You will –

1. Lead on the delivery of the core infrastructure workstream to support wider objectives
2. Manage 3 to 5 direct reports, ensuring adequate support as appropriate
3. Act as a point of escalation while nurturing a high-performing team
4. Be the primary point of contact for several third-party suppliers across digital infrastructure delivery
5. Develop detailed core infrastructure delivery plans
6. Work with the wider digital leadership team to align objectives and act as the primary contact for related activities
7. Ensure the digital infrastructure meets industry standards and adheres to overarching security protocols

What you'll need to succeed

Key Skills / Experience required:

• Previous experience in a senior leadership role within digital infrastructure
• Seasoned knowledge and experience across various digital components such as networking, Azure cloud, and mobile device management
• Experience in third-party relationship management
• Experience of infrastructure delivery
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
