Civica is seeking an IT Hardware Engineer to join our End User Services team in Leeds. You will own the lifecycle of laptops, desktops and peripherals, from provisioning to disposal, ensuring devices are deployed efficiently and securely across the UK office network.
You will work with Intune, Autopilot and Entra ID, collaborating with security and modern workplace teams. A customer‑facing, proactive approach is essential to maintain reliable IT services for Civica colleagues.
We're Civica and we make software that helps deliver critical services for citizens all around the world. From local to state government, to education, to health and care, over 5,000 public bodies across the globe use our software to help provide critical services to over 100 million citizens. Our aspiration is to be a GovTech champion everywhere we work around the globe, supporting the needs of citizens and those that serve them every day. Building on 21 years of continuous growth and success, we're at a pivotal point on our journey to realise that aspiration.
This is a hands‑on role at the heart of our End User Services team, helping make sure our UK colleagues have the technology they need to do their best work. Based from our Leeds office, you'll take ownership of hardware throughout its lifecycle, from preparing and deploying new laptops and devices through to troubleshooting, stock management, refresh, redeployment and disposal. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys technology but equally enjoys working with people. You don't need to be a deep technical specialist. We're looking for someone with good practical IT knowledge who takes ownership, communicates confidently and is keen to learn. You'll join an experienced team where you'll have the opportunity to build your knowledge, contribute ideas and make a visible difference to the service we provide to colleagues across Civica.
This is an operational hardware and device‑delivery position rather than an endpoint engineering role. You'll use tools including Intune, Autopilot and Entra ID to prepare devices and resolve routine deployment and enrolment issues, working alongside our specialist Modern Workplace and Security teams where deeper platform, policy or security expertise is required. The role is based in our Leeds office five days a week due to the hands‑on nature of preparing, managing and distributing physical IT equipment. Working hours can offer some flexibility around standard office hours.
There is no such thing as the perfect candidate, so if you think you have what it takes but don't necessarily meet every single point on the list above, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.
As a company, we're passionate about what we do and the citizens we serve. If you, too, want to champion the use of technology in public services to improve outcomes for citizens and public sector organizations, then Civica is the righ
