Job summary

Babcock is offering an Information Technology Graduate Programme across multiple UK hubs, including Lakeside near Portsmouth. The programme starts September 2027 with a two-year rotation through core IT areas and structured development, mentoring and reviews.

Starting salary is a minimum of £35,000 with hybrid working across locations in the UK. Candidates must hold or be on track for a (Hons) degree in Business or a STEM field and be able to achieve BPSS/SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Achieved or on track to achieve a (Hons) degree in Business or a STEM-related subject.
• BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance may be required for this programme.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through core IT functions including Strategy and Architecture, Development, Project Management, and IT Services.
• Gain practical experience on real projects that support the business and its digital operations.
• Contribute to analytics, data apps, dashboards and cyber resilience initiatives.
