Job summary

Complete Security Recruitment Ltd is seeking an IT Manager to govern technology projects, information security, and compliance while leading the IT Helpdesk and service delivery. You will drive ISO 27001 alignment, assurance activities with customers, and management of collaboration platforms.

The role requires strong communication skills to explain security matters to non-technical stakeholders and a proactive approach to continual improvement of IT services and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT Manager or governance/compliance role.
• Experience operating an ISO 27001-aligned management system and supporting external audits.
• Experience managing or leading an IT helpdesk/service desk with understanding of service management practices.
• Strong technical background across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Windows Server and endpoint management.
• Experience completing customer assurance activities such as security questionnaires and supplier assessments.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical/security matters to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance for technology projects, information security and cyber security to ensure decisions and controls align with business priorities.
• Maintain ISO accreditations and information security management system, and provide assurance on risk and compliance.
• Act as the main technology contact for customer assurance, accreditations, supplier assessments and bid responses.
• Lead governance and continual improvement of information management and collaboration platforms.
• Manage the IT Helpdesk and act as escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Introduce service management disciplines and performance standards for structured, repeatable delivery.
• Drive continual improvement in service quality, resilience and user experience.
• Lead improvements that simplify processes and reduce manual effort through automation, integration, and AI where appropriate.
• Develop the IT team's capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
