Job Title: IT & Telecoms Field Engineer

Location: Ferndown, Dorset

Salary / Rate of pay: up to £35,000 + Car Allowance

Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a family-run IT & Telecoms Managed Service Provider near Ferndown, Dorset, seeking an IT Field Service Engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

The role involves a mix of on-site fault support and implementation work, handling a variety of projects across different sizes and scopes, often with multiple engineers and spanning several days. Responsibilities include planning installations, surveying, contributing to solution design and quoting, coordinating with end users, providing statements of work, executing installations, and final handovers.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated engineer with a proactive, logical approach, and a 'can do' attitude. They should possess sufficient skills in core product and service areas to deliver varied solutions on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
