Job summary

Coherence Neuro is hiring an IT Engineer in Cambridge to own and scale our IT systems and information security within a medical device context. You will oversee identity, access control, network, servers, data, AI tools, and software governance.

Role requires hands-on administration across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SharePoint, DNS, and SaaS apps, plus ISO 13485 familiarity. You’ll be the local technical lead, collaborating with QA and AI teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT engineering or infrastructure role.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Entra ID admin skills.
• Experience designing SharePoint and OneDrive structures.
• Experience managing domains and DNS for a company.
• Experience coordinating AI tool usage to optimise workflows.
• Practical cybersecurity: IAM, MFA/SSO, backups and awareness.
• Familiar with ISO 13485 quality systems in regulated environments.
• Experience administering a broad SaaS estate (Slack/Zoom/Notion/Office).
• Support networking, VPN, and server infrastructure under pressure.
• Excellent communication and prioritisation in fast growth.

Responsibilities

• Own IT environment — identity, licensing, groups, security settings.
• Manage email domain configuration for scalable growth.
• Design and maintain file structure and eQMS data architecture.
• Own user access management with quality on data classification.
• Apply cybersecurity across IAM, MFA, endpoint hardening, backups.
• Coordinate AI tool usage to maximise efficiency while protecting data.
• Lead IT side of software rollouts and integrations.
• Optimise organisation-wide software configurations for security.
• Be the on-site technical presence in Cambridge with US overlap.
