Job Title: IT Engineer - Field-Based IT Asset Surveys and Repairs

Job Description

This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals with strong IT hardware skills and a full UK driving licence. The role is based in the South/South East London area.

The successful candidate will travel in a company van to various retail locations across towns such as Bromley, Maidstone, and Redhill. Responsibilities include conducting on-site assessments and resolving issues related to EPOS systems and business infrastructure, including networks and back-office servers.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Taking photographic evidence of issues identified during assessments.
2. Compiling detailed reports based on observations.
3. Reporting findings to the helpdesk and management teams.
4. Raising orders for repairs and maintenance as needed.

The working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work compensated as overtime.

The starting salary is £24,200, plus a £1,350 Outer London Allowance, and includes a company van for personal use.

This is a full-time PAYE role, offering benefits such as pension, paid holidays, and private healthcare.
