Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking a skilled configurator/engineer to develop and maintain Logik.AI configuration logic, with a focus on user-friendly guided selling and accurate quotes. You will work with Marketing, R&D, and order teams to translate requirements into robust configuration rules and product models.

Applicants should have web development experience, OO programming skills, and familiarity with SQL, Python, and major tooling.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree or work experience.
• Experience with web application development.
• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• AI Development Tools: ChatGPT, Github Copilot, Claude Code.
• Relational databases.
• T-SQL for troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis.
• Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Angular framework (or similar like React).
• Atlassian tools - Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket.
• Power BI, report builder, or other data visualization tools.
• The standard Microsoft Office 365 suite, primarily Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Logik.AI configuration logic and rules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, R&D, NPI Teams, Order Fulfillment, and Order Management to build scalable product structures and configuration solutions.

Technical Experience

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for UI rules and custom functions.
• Experience with JSON or YAML.
• Familiarity with SQL for troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis; Python knowledge is a plus for automation and testing.
• Ability to build product models with attributes, constraints, and dependencies.
• Define configuration and compatibility rules, including option dependencies and mandatory/exclusion selections.
• Implement dynamic configuration logic for guided selling.
• Develop and refine configurator UI, including layout and component adjustments.
• Experience in providing technical support for system end-users (and user roles) such as customers, sales reps, partners, and internal users.

Integration & Enterprise System Experience

• Mapping product structures for configuration across systems.
• Ensuring quote, order, and pricing data consistency.
• Leverage ATO, CTO, and PTO component configurations to support downstream supply chain strategies.
• Experience with platforms including Salesforce, Oracle EBS, Oracle CPQ, Logik.AI or Oracle Cloud is a plus.

Data Modeling & Business Logic Skills

• Translate business requirements into logical rules.
• Clean and normalize product data, manage complex product variants.
• Balance configurability with system performance.
• Background in Configure-Price-Quote platforms, product catalog management, or rules-based systems is preferred.

Testing, Quality, and Deployment

• Comfortable with unit, scenario-based, and regression testing.
• Troubleshoot configuration rules (debug) and resolve issues with quotes/orders efficiently.
• Experience promoting changes through development and production environments (sandbox staging production).
• Know Agilent Scrum Methodology.

Soft Skills & Role Expectations

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to clarify ambiguous requirements, explain technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and work closely with cross-functional teams across geographies.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities.
