We're looking for a Director of Enterprise Applications to lead our IT strategy implementation and manage our key enterprise applications.

With a strong focus on Oracle ERP, enterprise data management, and system integrations, you will be responsible for leveraging Azure Data Platform for data warehousing, analytics, and AI-driven insights while ensuring seamless integration across applications.

Location: Flexible with remote working available. Occasional travel to our offices in Rushden, Northamptonshire, and London will be required.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

  1. Strategic Leadership and Governance: defining and executing an enterprise applications and data strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  2. ERP and Enterprise Application Management: driving the roadmap, architecture, and lifecycle management of Oracle ERP (Cloud or On-Premise).
  3. Data Strategy and Azure Data Platform: acting as the primary owner of Oracle ERP, overseeing implementation, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing support. Leading the adoption and optimization of the Azure Data Platform (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and AI/ML services).
  4. Enterprise Integrations and iPaaS: designing and overseeing enterprise-wide integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between Oracle ERP and other applications (CRM, HCM, BI, SCM).
  5. Business Process Optimisation and Digital Transformation: partnering with business units to analyse and improve operational processes through ERP, data, and integration strategies.
  6. Team Leadership and Vendor Management: building and leading a high-performing enterprise applications, data, and integrations team, as well as managing key relationships with Oracle, Microsoft, and other technology partners, negotiating contracts, and ensuring service excellence.

What are we looking for?

The role of Director of Enterprise Applications is ideal if you have:

  • Significant experience in enterprise applications management, particularly Oracle ERP (Cloud or EBS).
  • Proven experience designing and managing enterprise integrations using iPaaS solutions (Azure Integration Services, Oracle Integration Cloud, Mulesoft, Boomi).
  • Knowledge of ERP modules (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR) and their integrations.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance standards (GDPR, SOX).
  • Hands-on experience with API-based integrations, data pipelines, and cloud-based data strategies.
