Job summary

A leading independent technology and services provider in London is seeking an onsite logistics assistant to support deployment teams. You will move equipment safely across the site, prep workspaces, manage stock, and ensure PPE compliance.

Key tasks include loading/unloading, transporting gear between floors, assisting deployment engineers, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment under the Site Lead guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience providing onsite logistics and deployment support.
• Ability to move equipment safely on site and follow PPE rules.
• Ability to transport equipment between floors and work areas.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite logistics and deployment support to ensure smooth and efficient equipment movement across the site.
• Support delivery and logistics activities from the loading bay to deployment locations.
• Transport deployment equipment, devices, and trolleys between floors and designated work areas.
• Assist deployment engineers with equipment handling and transportation.
• Prepare workspaces and stage equipment for deployment activities.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and distribution of deployment stock and materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Carry out general logistics and deployment-related tasks as directed by the Site Lead.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while onsite.
• Follow all site health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform manual handling activities safely and effectively.

Job Overview: Provide onsite logistics and deployment support, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of equipment across the site to maintain installation productivity. Assist with equipment handling, workspace preparation, stock distribution, and deployment activities while following all health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Location: London EC1A 7BA

Pay Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £14.90 PAYE) OR £19.33 per hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite logistics and deployment support to ensure smooth and efficient equipment movement across the site.
• Support delivery and logistics activities from the loading bay to deployment locations.
• Transport deployment equipment, devices, and trolleys between floors and designated work areas.
• Assist deployment engineers with equipment handling and transportation.
• Support Technician 2 engineers with the safe lifting and mounting of large monitors, including 49-inch displays.
• Prepare workspaces and stage equipment for deployment activities.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and distribution of deployment stock and materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Carry out general logistics and deployment-related tasks as directed by the Site Lead.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while onsite.
• Follow all site health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform manual handling activities safely and effectively.
