Job summary

King’s College London is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead IT change initiatives, coordinating multi-skilled teams and ensuring delivery within governance standards. You will drive delivery across Agile and Waterfall projects, manage procurement and budgets, and collaborate across IT and business units to maximise benefits.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a complex university environment.

Qualifications

Recognised PM or Agile delivery certification.
Experience managing a diverse, multi-skilled IT delivery team.
Proven ability to motivate and direct third-party IT vendors.
Strong ability to plan, prioritise and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Deliver IT change in line with King’s change delivery standards.
Co-ordinate IT procurement activities with Procurement, Supplier Management, and IT Solutions colleagues.
Ensure quality, change control and risk management processes are followed.
Contribute to benefits realisation plans and manage budgeting.
Provide guidance to colleagues as required.
