We are currently seeking an IT Cost Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our team based at our Support Centre in London.

The main purpose of the IT Costs Analyst role: to support our Finance team in providing comprehensive management accounting services to our Travel Support Centre budget holders and to ensure the business can effectively control central costs.

What you will be doing:

1. Administer the IT recoveries process, allocating resources to projects in a transparent and robust manner on a monthly basis.
2. Manage IT management recharges to capital projects quarterly.
3. Prepare month-end reporting of actuals for IT contracts, including accrual calculations, posting journals, and reconciliations.
4. Track variances to budget, explain deviations, and flag risks to the IT Business Partner.
5. Assist the IT Business Partner with budgeting and forecasting of BAU IT contract costs, including detailed analysis of changes.
6. Handle monthly accounting for IT projects, ensuring accurate reporting and explanation of variances to stakeholders.
7. Support the IT team with ad hoc analysis and queries.
8. Provide detailed analysis of all IT charges invoiced to High Street under the TSA agreement.
9. Reflect TSA charges in the High Street ledger and update these charges monthly as contracts evolve.

What we are looking for:

1. Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA).
2. Experience working collaboratively across business functions.
3. Proven experience with month-end responsibilities, including accruals and prepayments.
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent organizational skills and a flexible attitude.
6. Proven ability to work with non-finance colleagues.
7. Highly numerate and analytical, with the ability to present data compellingly.
8. Experience in project and SaaS accounting is advantageous.
9. Advanced Excel skills.
