Job summary

Aviva is seeking an IT Controls Testing Manager to join the Technology Operations and Services team in Bristol. You will design and deliver control testing across IT and security standards, collaborating with Technology, Risk and the wider business to assess control effectiveness and strengthen the control environment.

You’ll contribute to developing testing methodologies and ensure high-quality outcomes while driving continuous improvement and strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Controls Testing, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or a similar assurance role.
• Strong understanding of operational risk management and control frameworks within a technology environment; good knowledge of IT infrastructure, cyber security, and technology operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, document and deliver control testing across IT and security standards.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls across business units.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the control environment and manage risk.
• Develop and enhance testing methodologies across the organisation.
