Job summary

ITV is recruiting a Finance Controls Manager to oversee and enhance our risk and control environment. The role will design, embed, and continually improve finance risk and control frameworks, partnering with control owners across Finance to ensure risks are understood and embedded in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in accountancy, risk, or audit (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in financial controls, risk management, or assurance within a complex corporate organisation.
• Ability to build finance risk and control frameworks from scratch.
• Familiarity with the UK Corporate Governance Code (Provision 29).
• Experience delivering change within risk and control environments.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve finance risk and control frameworks to stay practical and aligned with key processes.
• Partner with control owners to identify gaps, resolve issues and embed risks in day-to-day operations.
• Lead the Finance Control Self-Assessment (CSA) process across the Finance function.
• Lead the Finance monitoring process, translate outputs into meaningful management information and reporting.
• Track remediation activities through to completion, prioritise actions and escalate issues.
• Provide practical guidance to process owners to promote accountability and sustainable controls.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to simplify control frameworks based on feedback and monitoring outcomes.
• Coordinate the annual fraud risk assessment and ensure clear ownership of mitigation actions.
• Support material remediation activities to meet UK Corporate Governance Code requirements.
