Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a commercial contract professional in Peterborough to support IT development project contract reviews and resourcing agreements within DDaT frameworks. The role provides cost and commercial input into negotiations and evaluation, while assisting with contract administration, cost capture and change requests.

You will assure supplier cost and performance reporting, KPIs and participate in assurance, audits and framework governance, helping streamline cost control processes

Qualifications

• Strong cost analysis, commercial and contract management principles.
• Experience supporting cost control, contract management or framework governance.
• Ability to analyse cost data to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Confidence working with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to challenge constructively.
• Highly organised and able to deliver quality outputs to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support IT development project contract reviews and resourcing agreements within DDaT frameworks.
• Provide cost and commercial input into contractual negotiations, evaluation and lessons-learned activities.
• Support contract administration, cost capture, and challenge cost estimates and change requests.
• Assure supplier cost and performance reporting, dashboards and KPIs.
• Support assurance, audit activity and contract compliance across DDaT frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve, streamline or automate cost control and reporting processes.
• Support the Purchase Orders process and activity resilience across the wider Commercial Team.
