Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) is looking for an IT Configuration Analyst to manage configuration activities and support IT services. Located in London, this role includes handling hardware, asset lifecycle management, and serving as a point of contact for configuration queries. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, experience in IT environments, and a collaborative spirit.

About the role
In your role as IT Configuration Analyst you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.
This role will provide a great opportunity toreport to our IT Service Desk & Support Manager as a fundamental part of the USS Technology Services group function.
As an IT Configuration Analyst, you will be managing all configuration-related day-to-day activities such as asset, configuration, and lifecycle management.
The role will also be responsible for building and configuring end-user compute hardware and ensuring the IT build areas are to standard.
This role will maintain the accuracy and integrity of config data within ITSM & CMDB tools, ensuring that they are aligned with ITILv4 & USS policies and practices.
You will act as a central point of contact for managing the supporting configuration-related queries and contribute to the effective resolution of incidents and the delivery of high-quality IT services.
This role is based in London but will require occasional travel to the Liverpool office.
