We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Change Analyst to join our IT Change Management team in Unity Place - Milton Keynes.

You’ll use a variety of skills working with an experienced team of change managers involved in both minor and major changes to Infrastructure including large transformation programmes, upgrades and projects.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Managing deployments in different environments for various technologies such as JAVA, AWS Cloud and Mainframe
  • Performing technical analysis of any failure during deployment process and fix the issue
  • Co-ordinating major changes, including deployment plans, and manage deployment activities. Also, verify, validate, and create implementation plans as required
  • Performing post implementation reviews
  • Managing stakeholder relationships with interfacing areas both internal and external
  • Chairing weekly change board meetings and specific project change meetings

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience with Technical and Software Change Manager expertise
  • Experience installing and deploying software packages for different technologies/frameworks
  • Previous experience working within an ITIL Service oriented environment

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • A proven understanding of multi-platform systems architecture (Ansible, WebSphere, Tomcat, AWS Cloud & Android / iOS)
  • ITIL Certification or equivalent
  • Prince2 Certification or equivalent
  • Experience in Scripting languages

What else you need to know:

This permanent role is based in Unity Place – Milton Keynes.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

If you apply for this role in this location, it’s important you consider your travelling distance, time and cost from your home to the office location.

We’re happy to discuss specific working patterns and arrangement within this hybrid approach during the recruitment process.

On call Support on a rota 1 week in 7, Supporting Changes out of office hours.

1st Stage – Technical Interview – this will a 30min technical interview with one of the team

2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where we will ask both technical and competency-based questions. This can be done virtually or face to face depending on your situation.
