About the role

We’re looking for an SAP Platform Developer to join our SAP Technology Team at Malvern Panalytical. You’ll support and enhance our SAP S/4HANA and BTP landscape, delivering improvements and enabling strategic projects.

Working in an Agile environment, you’ll turn user stories into real business value through smart, scalable solutions.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Partner with the Plan-to-Produce Global Process Owner and stakeholders to define the Plan-to-Produce strategy and roadmap, leveraging SAP and complementary solutions.
  • Consult with stakeholders to gather requirements, driving improvements or the introduction of new capabilities to enhance the Plan-to-Produce process.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise and strategic direction in areas such as Production Planning, Scheduling, Execution, and Material Requirements Planning within SAP S/4.
  • Deliver process improvements to maximize ROI and enhance Plan-to-Produce KPIs, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Manage all functional and technical development for SAP S/4 solution areas, including Quality Management, Variant Configuration, Warehouse and Inventory Management.
  • Ensure system documentation and compliance with internal security policies, troubleshoot functional issues, and drive continuous improvement using Agile Scrum and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

About you:

  • Extensive SAP Module experience in the following areas of S/4 Production Planning & Execution, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, Enterprise Warehouse Management for a Global Manufacturing Company
  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP Modules for example Material Management and Sales & Distribution and how they interact with Production Processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all business functions and design appropriate solutions
  • Ability to influence others and provide guidance on SAP Best Practices
  • Exceptional process knowledge and experience across business processes
  • Experience of solution delivery that maximises business value
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills to work effectively with Stakeholders and diverse teams
  • Ability to Document Requirements and configure SAP to meet business need
  • Excellent Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to technical and non-technical colleagues
