Job summary

Multiplex is seeking an IT Business Analyst to bridge business processes and technology across our global IT division. This role focuses on translating business needs into IT requirements and enabling effective change.

You will gather requirements, run workshops, perform AS-IS/TO-BE mapping, and draft SOPs and process documentation to support strategic IT initiatives.

• Experience in a similar IT/business analyst role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours with teams across global locations/time zones.
• System implementation and/or development experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Aptitude to learn and apply new technologies.
• Understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements and KPIs.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops; AS-IS/TO-BE mapping; RACI and gap analysis.
• Draft standard operating procedures and process maps.
• Produce documentation for each project and capture requirements.
• Support project meetings by recording minutes and actions.
• Identify impacts/risks of new processes or systems; educate stakeholders.
• Ensure architectural consistency and usability standards; compile test scripts.

Who we're looking for

Reporting to the Head of Technology - IT Delivery, the IT Business Analyst acts as an intermediary between the business and IT, drawing on a strong understanding of business processes and technology to ensure that the desired business outcomes are achieved.

The IT Business Analyst works with the business to understand and define business requirements, will facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyse the requirements, As-Is and To-Be mapping, RACI, Gap Analysis (People, Process and Technology), Process re-engineering and document Business Process Mapping using MS Visio and drafting Standard Operating Procedures.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary technology team that works closely with our customers (business, software vendors and partners).

Produce documentation as required for each project (including capturing and documenting all business requirements)

Support project meetings by capturing minutes and actions where required

Identify impacts and risks in any proposed new process or system amendment

Educate process stakeholders in new processes or approaches

Promote architectural consistency and usability standards

Compile test scripts

Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs

Documentation of system enhancements

Act as a conduit between the business and the IT support teams to identify issues, and identify solutions that balance regional needs and global consistency
