Job summary

Deloitte UK is looking for enthusiastic students to join its four-week IT Audit placement as part of the Summer Vacation Scheme. You will work with experts to apply university learning to real-world problems, identifying tech risks and testing IT controls while developing professional skills.

You’ll gain exposure to a range of organisations, build relationships across teams, and explore possibilities for a future graduate role. Hybrid work is supported.

Qualifications

• University students in penultimate year aiming for a 2:1 or above.
• Interest in IT audit, risks and controls within financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn and work on real-world audit problems.

Responsibilities

• Work in teams with IT and financial audit colleagues to deliver tasks.
• Identify technology-related risks and evaluate IT controls.
• Test design and operating effectiveness of IT controls.
• Communicate findings clearly and support audit reporting.
• Contribute to process innovations and efficiency gains.
• Engage with stakeholders to support high-quality audits.
