Job summary

Howden is seeking an Internal Audit Manager - IT to lead IT audits, provide SME guidance on IT risk, and support broader assurance work. You will influence risk-based reporting, engage with stakeholders across IT and business, and drive innovative, data-driven audit approaches in a hybrid London-based role.

Strong collaboration, senior stakeholder engagement, and a proactive mindset toward AI and automation will be essential to success.

Qualifications

• Advanced IT audit expertise across ITGCs, application controls and cloud environments.
• Ability to translate complex IT risk into actionable audit plans and business language.
• Professional qualifications in IT risk/audit are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver IT audits across core domains (infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, data governance).
• Act as SME for IT risk, guiding assessment, planning and continuous monitoring.
• Embed IT risk in broader audits (underwriting, finance) and mentor audit team members.
