Job summary

Team

You will join the IT Asset Management (ITAM) team, supporting hardware asset management across the UK and Europe. The team is responsible for ensuring colleagues receive the right equipment at the right time by managing the full hardware lifecycle, from forecasting and procurement through to refresh planning and asset retirement.

How you will contribute

• Build and maintain strong relationships with hardware vendors, OEMs and resellers to support efficient service delivery across the UK & Europe.
• Ensure laptop and peripheral availability through effective forecasting, procurement and supply chain coordination.
• Drive successful PC refresh programmes by planning refresh cycles, processing requests and coordinating stakeholders.
• Support the full hardware asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, leasing, refresh and retirement activities.
• Coordinate engineering approvals, evaluation orders and testing activities to support new laptop model introductions.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to mitigate stock shortages and delivery risks.
• Maintain accurate asset, vendor and procurement records to support operational reporting and decision-making.
• Own and track vendor action plans, open orders and statements of work, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Log, monitor and drive resolution of hardware defects, supply issues and vendor-related incidents.
• Maintain knowledge base articles, hardware catalogues, laptop specifications and user-facing documentation.
• Collaborate with regional IT teams, Engineering and ITAM leadership to ensure alignment on hardware standards and roadmap activities.
• Support budgeting and financial tracking activities, including laptop allocations, leasing rates and billing records.
• Identify opportunities to improve hardware management processes, vendor performance and user experience.
• Prepare regular operational reports, forecasting updates and stakeholder communications for regional leadership.
