Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Greater London is seeking an IT Asset Management professional to manage hardware lifecycle, forecasting, procurement and vendor relations across the UK and Europe.

You will support PC refresh programmes, track asset records, and collaborate with regional IT teams to align standards and roadmap activities. Strong communication and cross-time-zone teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in ITAM, procurement, supply chain.
• Working knowledge of hardware lifecycle management and vendor relationships.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow or equivalent ITAM/ITSM platform.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organization, follow-through and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across time zones with global teams.
• Experience using AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with hardware vendors, OEMs and resellers.
• Ensure laptop and peripheral availability through forecasting and procurement.
• Drive PC refresh programmes by planning cycles and coordinating stakeholders.
• Support full hardware asset lifecycle including leasing, deployment and retirement.
• Coordinate approvals, evaluation orders and testing for new laptop models.
• Monitor inventory levels; mitigate stock shortages and delivery risks.
• Maintain asset, vendor and procurement records for reporting.
• Log and drive resolution of hardware defects and vendor incidents.
• Collaborate with regional IT teams to align hardware standards and roadmap.
• Support budgeting, leasing rates and billing records.
