Key Responsibilities

You’ll support the effective management and control of the organisation’s IT assets by:

  • Taking responsibility for the organisation of the IT build room, asset storeroom and surrounding areas.
  • Ensuring all IT equipment and storage areas remain tidy, secure and operational.
  • Supporting procurement activities, including obtaining quotations, coordinating with suppliers and managing asset deliveries.
  • Ensuring returned and retired equipment is securely wiped and disposed of in accordance with company policies and data‑protection requirements.
  • Producing regular asset‑management reports for financial, compliance and audit purposes.
  • Ensuring IT asset‑management procedures comply with relevant company policies, security standards and regulatory requirements.
About You

You’ll be a highly organised and dependable professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records across a busy IT environment.

You will also have:
  • Previous experience within IT asset management, IT administration, inventory management or a similar role.

  • Experience managing stock levels and maintaining accurate equipment records.
  • The ability to reconcile asset records and investigate discrepancies effectively.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to manage processes independently from start to finish.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • An understanding of IT asset lifecycles, including procurement, deployment, repair, replacement and disposal.
  • Awareness of data‑protection, information‑security and secure equipment‑disposal requirements.
