Job summary

We are partnering with a prestigious Global Law Firm to recruit a Senior IT Business Applications Manager for their Manchester base. You will lead a team responsible for around 40 of more than 200 applications, overseeing 365 / Teams and AI integrations, and collaborating with the Global Senior Applications Management team.

This strategic role requires strong leadership, board-level reporting, and onsite presence in Manchester three days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in a legal or professional services IT management
• Proven team management and performance management experience
• Experience supporting 365 / AI tools (Teams, CoPilot) preferred
• Knowledge of multi-tier enterprise platforms incl. SQL databases and web services (IIS, Tomcat)
• Experience working within a large-scale environment

Responsibilities

• Organising, delegating and coordinating the work of the team
• Drafting internal communications to Global Technology Managers on upgrades, fixes and patches
• Designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise applications with productivity, AI tools, Teams and Microsoft 365
• Developing and deploying software fixes, security patches and feature updates
