Why This Role Matters

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Application Support Lead to enhance our IT support team at a prestigious auction house in London.

This role is pivotal in managing both vendor relationships and internal IT operations to ensure seamless technology support across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage and resolve complex technical issues.

How You'll Make an Impact

Vendor Management and Collaboration

  • Proven experience in establishing and managing vendor partnerships

  • Demonstrated ability to ensure vendor performance aligns with commercial agreements and contractual obligations

  • Experience in developing and implementing continuous improvement plans for vendor governance

  • Strong background in collaborating with vendors to set goals, manage action plans, and ensure delivery

  • Experience maintaining and expanding vendor, business, and product team relationships

  • Proven ability to facilitate effective communication between business and vendors

  • Experience in aligning feedback with product owners to prioritize issue resolution

  • Demonstrated capability to act as a liaison between application support vendors, product delivery teams, and business departments

  • Strong problem-solving skills in navigating technology platforms and connecting teams for complex issue resolution

  • Experience in investigating issues to identify root causes and implementing corrective actions

Internal IT Operations and Application Support

  • Proven leadership experience in managing internal IT support teams

  • Demonstrated experience in providing end-user support, particularly to executive staff

  • Strong background in managing technical support teams, including hiring, training, and performance management

  • Experience in staying current with company policies, procedures, and IT trends

  • Demonstrated collaboration with other departments to improve product functionality and customer satisfaction

  • Strong background in creating and updating manuals and documentation

  • Experience in coordinating training and orientation for new technology users

  • Experience in organizing support, troubleshooting, and resolving time- sensitive issues

Specialised Knowledge and Skills

  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with O365, including: SharePoint and Exchange Online

  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service with a problem-solving attitude

  • Experience in managing a ticket queue and prioritizing tasks effectively

  • Demonstrated team management and collaboration skills

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues

  • Experience in providing remote support

  • Proven ability to work under pressure

  • Solid technical background with the ability to instruct non-technical audiences
