Job summary

Medina College on the Isle of Wight seeks an experienced Estates and Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day management of three educational estates, including Carisbrooke College. You will lead a small team, coordinate maintenance, ensure safety compliance and manage external providers to maintain safe, well-kept learning environments.

Working with the Head of Estates and Safety Management, you will drive improvements, prioritise tasks, and deliver high service standards across Medina College

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, estates, building maintenance or site management.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams while managing contractors.
• Strong understanding of health and safety, compliance and building maintenance requirements.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
• Maintains high standards and delivers excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Site Assistants and Caretakers.
• Manage maintenance operations across multiple sites.
• Oversee statutory compliance and health and safety requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance and manage PM programmes.
