Firebrand Training Ltd, part of Lyceum Education Group, is seeking an experienced ISACA Cyber Trainer to develop and deliver comprehensive cybersecurity training programs, preparing students for ISACA exams such as CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, and CGEIT. The role emphasizes hands-on practice, assessment, and staying current with industry trends.

You will use multiple delivery formats (in-person, online, blended) and create engaging materials while maintaining high-quality instruction and ongoing

Qualifications

  • ISACA certifications required or strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a cybersecurity trainer or instructor.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning environments.
  • Experience with multiple training delivery methods (in-person, online, blended).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize, and conduct training programs on cybersecurity and ISACA certifications.
  • Create and update course materials and resources.
  • Deliver training sessions in-person, online, and blended formats.
  • Assess trainees and provide feedback to improve performance.
  • Stay current with cybersecurity developments and incorporate into curriculum.
  • Coordinate practical exercises and hands-on scenarios.

An opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable and detail-orientated instructor to join the team as an ISACA Cyber Trainer. You will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that prepare our students for ISACA certification exams and equip them with the skills needed to excel in the cybersecurity field.

What you’ll be doing
  • Develop, organize, and conduct training programs in the field of cybersecurity, with a focus on ISACA certifications such as CISM, CISA, CRISC, and others.
  • Create and update course materials, including textbooks, workbooks, handouts, and digital resources.
  • Deliver training sessions in various formats, including in-person, online, and blended learning environments.
  • Assess trainees' knowledge, skills, and abilities, providing feedback and coaching to improve their performance.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in cybersecurity and incorporate them into the training curriculum.
  • Conduct practical exercises and role‑play scenarios to provide hands‑on experience in handling cybersecurity incidents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure high‑quality instruction.
What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:

Required Qualifications:

ISACA Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM)

ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control® (CRISC)

ISACA Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer® (CDPSE)

ISACA Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT)

Certified in ISO27 Lead implementor

Certified in ISO27 Lead Auditor

Proven experience as a cybersecurity trainer or instructor.

Proven relevant industry experience.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and frameworks.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to create engaging and interactive learning environments.

Experience with various training delivery methods, including in-person, online, and blended learning.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS and Academic/Qualification check.
