The IQIPS Accreditation Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership, programme management and specialist quality improvement expertise for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Improving Quality in Physiological Services (IQIPS) accreditation programme across Cardiology and Respiratory Healthcare Sciences at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust and associated Community Diagnostic Centres. The post holder will lead the multi-site delivery of the IQIPS accreditation programme, ensuring services achieve and sustain UKAS accreditation through the implementation of robust governance arrangements, quality management systems, audit programmes and continuous service improvement initiatives. Acting as the Trust's specialist adviser for IQIPS accreditation, the post holder will work autonomously to develop accreditation strategies, resolve complex governance and quality issues, and provide expert advice to senior clinical and managerial staff. The role is responsible for leading organisational change across multiple clinical services, embedding accreditation standards into routine practice and ensuring compliance with national quality standards across the domains of patient experience, clinical practice, workforce, facilities, safety and governance. This role will be based in Newmarket CDC however, will be expected to travel between sites (West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust) as and when required.
The post holder will establish and maintain effective relationships with senior clinicians, operational managers, corporate departments and external accreditation organisations, influencing practice, securing engagement and facilitating organisational change to deliver sustainable improvements in patient care, service quality and operational performance.
