St Clare Hospice is seeking a Nursing Associate to join our 8-bed inpatient unit. You must be on the NMC register with a Foundation Degree and work with our Registered Nurses to deliver compassionate, patient-centered palliative and end-of-life care.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, carrying out clinical and care tasks to a high standard and delivering care according to each individual's plan, under supervision, with occasional shift leadership in exceptional circumstances.
We are looking for a highly motivated, pro-active and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our 8 bedded inpatient Unit. You will need to be on the NMC register with a Foundation Degree. You will be working in partnership with our Registered Nurses to provide the highest possible standard in palliative and end of life care., Responsible for delivering high quality patient centred compassionate care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering care that focuses on the holistic needs of the individual. Carry out specific clinical and care tasks to a high standard. Deliver care independently in line with the individuals defined plan of care, within the parameters of practice of the Nursing Associate role, accessing clinical and care advice when needed. Nursing Associates will not routinely be expected to lead a shift but may be required to do so in exceptional circumstances where all other options have been exhausted.
