Job summary

Cranstoun in Sandwell is seeking an Employment Specialist to join its IPS team on a fixed-term contract through to April 2028. The role delivers supported employment to people in community treatment for substance use, helping them into paid work while respecting their preferences.

You will engage with employers, build relationships across all levels from frontline staff to CEO, and use negotiation and communication skills to secure opportunities. DBS checks and right to work in the UK apply.

• Experience talking to employers and helping people into work.
• Great communication skills and ability to build relationships across levels.
• Negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
• Drive, passion and commitment.
• Understanding issues for people affected by substance misuse or similar conditions.
• Able to work in a target-driven environment.
