Job summary

Red 5 People in Southampton seeks an experienced Employment Advisor to help clients with severe mental health difficulties find and sustain paid employment. Working within an established mental health service, you will use the IPS model to guide clients from aspiration to employment and ongoing support.

Your base will be New Milton, with around 65% of time in community settings. You will support clients across Christchurch and the Lymington/New Milton area, collaborating with Community Mental

Qualifications

• Solid experience within employment services.
• Strong understanding of employer engagement and relationship building.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support people with severe mental health difficulties to achieve employment goals.
• Deliver employment support in line with the IPS Fidelity model.
• Develop personalised employment plans based on client strengths and aspirations.
• Assist with CVs, applications, interview preparation, career planning and job searching.
• Build relationships with local employers and identify opportunities, including hidden roles.
• Provide ongoing in-work support and liaise with clinical colleagues and partner organisations.
• Maintain accurate case records and complete reports.
