Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Employment Specialist to support individuals with mental health challenges in finding and maintaining work. You will follow the IPS model, collaborate with DWP and local employers, and deliver tailored employment programmes in a person-centred way.

You will build connections with employers, advise on reasonable adjustments, and spend time understanding local labour markets to create real job opportunities for service users.

Qualifications

• Proactively manage a caseload of people with mental health difficulties.
• Follow the IPS model and liaise with DWP and employers to create opportunities.
• Provide person-centred, tailored programmes to meet individual employment goals.

Responsibilities

• Engage with employers to identify reasonable adjustments and return-to-work plans.
• Research the labour market and negotiate job opportunities for clients.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary environment to support service users across Gloucestershire.
