Job summary

Oxford Health is seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to join the Buckinghamshire team. This community-based role involves delivering the IPS model under the IPS Team Leader, engaging with service users, employers, and DWP, and travel across sites to support sustainable employment.

You will manage a caseload of up to 20 people with mental health needs and work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and extend the service regionally while building inclusive employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Experience using Microsoft Office to improve work processes.
• Knowledge of disability, health conditions, or employment legislation to help someone access, obtain, or retain employment.
• Organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Experience multi-disciplinary collaboration with professionals to best support a person.
• Experience supporting someone to obtain or retain employment.
• Ability to manage a caseload with varying needs and priorities.
• Understanding of the principles of supported employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the IPS model as part of the holistic recovery plan for mental health service users in the community.
• Work across community settings engaging with service users, employers, DWP and other stakeholders.
• Manage a caseload up to 20 people and deliver IPS with full training.
• Collaborate with IPS Team Leaders and other Specialists to develop the wider service and build employer relationships.
