Bird & Bird in London seeks a Valuations & Damages Specialist to join the IP team. You will support the Head of Valuation & Damages and collaborate with the legal team to shape and execute strategies for valuation and damages in disputes.

The role focuses on IP disputes with opportunities in Sports, Dispute Resolution and Competition, offering flexible working arrangements including remote and office-based work and a comprehensive development programme.

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant professional qualification (accountant, CFA, or economist).
• Strong analytical, communication and strategic thinking required.
• Experience drafting expert reports and valuing assets for disputes.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Valuation & Damages in London and develop strategy for valuation in disputes.
• Work with legal teams to execute valuation and damages elements for IP, sports, competition disputes.
• Draft expert reports and explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Build and contribute to a growing in-house valuation team.
