Job summary

A FTSE 100 Organisation in London/Hybrid is seeking an IP & Technology Legal Counsel to join its legal team. You will support intellectual property and technology initiatives across the group, with exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on protecting a global brand, negotiating tech agreements, and contributing to AI-driven legal innovation within a high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years post-qualification experience in IP and technology law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating IP licenses, SaaS and cloud agreements.
• Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Advising on trademarks, brand protection and wider IP matters
• Supporting the management of a global IP portfolio
• Negotiating and advising on technology, SaaS and cloud services agreements
• Providing guidance on AI, licensing and technology-related legal issues
• Supporting legal technology, AI adoption and innovation projects
• Working closely with senior stakeholders across legal, technology, procurement and commercial teams
