Job summary

A leading global firm is seeking an IP Administrator/Paralegal in Ormskirk. This role involves executing legal formalities for patents, trademarks, and designs, while supporting the Intellectual Property team. Candidates should ideally have a qualification in Patent Administration and exhibit strong teamwork, attention to detail, and customer focus. Qualifications

  • Willing to acquire detailed knowledge of all aspects of Intellectual Property.
  • Ideally have a qualification in Patent Administration from the Chartered Institute of Patents Attorneys.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and personal responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute legal documents for IP prosecution.
  • Coordinate filing of foreign patent applications.
  • Manage payments for patent office fees.
  • Update IP database and record communications.
  • Prepare forms for UK or European Patent Office.
  • File/register trademarks and designs.
  • Administer NSG IP Agreements.
  • Review procedures and identify improvement activities.
