Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a CCTV Engineer to join our Asset & Technology Solutions team, covering sites across Scotland. You will install, maintain and repair IP CCTV systems, intruder alarms, and access control, travelling between sites to ensure high security standards.

You should hold CCTV trade qualifications, have experience in a BAFE/SSAIB/NSI environment, and possess a full UK driving licence. The role offers smart working options where applicable and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with IP CCTV systems and security systems.
• Trade qualifications related to CCTV.
• Experience in BA FE/SSAIB/NSI accredited environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Technical knowledge of Intruder Alarm, Door Entry, Fire and Access Control systems.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, maintaining and installing CCTV systems to standards.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and to company protocols.
• Support maintenance of site security across locations.
• Deliver and collect assets and materials as required.
• Implement risk assessments and method statements when required.
• Report unsafe acts, near misses and observations.
• Keep knowledge up to date with industry standards.
• Support installation/maintenance of wider site security systems.
