Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking an installation engineer to install and commission remote temperature and environmental monitoring systems across the country.

Role entails ~70% installation/commissioning and 30% troubleshooting, with regular nationwide travel and overnight stays, up to four nights per week. Responsibilities

• Configure systems and check wireless coverage, connectivity and performance.
• Carry out fault-finding, repairs and maintenance across sensors, gateways and monitoring systems.
• Complete installation records and provide customer training and support.

The Company

A global provider of specialist equipment and solutions supporting healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical research and laboratory environments. The UK business supplies medical and laboratory equipment alongside intelligent storage and connected monitoring systems.

The Role

Responsible for installing and commissioning remote temperature and environmental monitoring systems at customer sites nationwide. Approximately 70% installation and commissioning, with the remaining 30% covering troubleshooting, maintenance and technical support. Regular UK travel and overnight stays are required, potentially up to four nights per week.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience installing or commissioning IoT, wireless monitoring or connected systems. LoRaWAN experience preferred.


• Experience installing wireless sensors, gateways and temperature monitoring equipment. Modbus knowledge beneficial.


• Ideally from a healthcare, pharma, medical or laboratory background, but open to other IoT/BMS industries.


• Must have a full UK Driving License and full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship


• Good technical fault-finding skills, happy working independently and comfortable with regular nationwide travel.
