Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd. is recruiting for an installation and commissioning engineer to deploy remote monitoring systems across the UK. You will install wireless temperature sensors, gateways and monitoring devices at customer sites, ensuring coverage and performance.

The role involves substantial nationwide travel, overnight stays, and a driving license. A background in healthcare, pharma or lab environments is preferred, with LoRaWAN a plus. Excellent fault-finding skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience installing or commissioning IoT, wireless monitoring or connected systems.
• LoRaWAN experience preferred.
• Experience installing wireless sensors, gateways and temperature monitoring equipment.
• Modbus knowledge beneficial.
• UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Configure systems and check wireless coverage, connectivity and performance.

The Company

A global provider of specialist equipment and solutions supporting healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical research and laboratory environments. The UK business supplies medical and laboratory equipment alongside intelligent storage and connected monitoring systems.

The Role

Responsible for installing and commissioning remote temperature and environmental monitoring systems at customer sites nationwide. Approximately 70% installation and commissioning, with the remaining 30% covering troubleshooting, maintenance and technical support. Regular UK travel and overnight stays are required, potentially up to four nights per week.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience installing or commissioning IoT, wireless monitoring or connected systems. LoRaWAN experience preferred.
• Experience installing wireless sensors, gateways and temperature monitoring equipment. Modbus knowledge beneficial.
• Ideally from a healthcare, pharma, medical or laboratory background, but open to other IoT/BMS industries.
• Must have a full UK Driving License and full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
• Good technical fault-finding skills, happy working independently and comfortable with regular nationwide travel.

Package

• £38,000-£45,000 basic salary.
• £6,600 annual car allowance.
