Job summary

AVD Appoint is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation in Berkshire. The role offers a competitive salary up to £50,000, along with benefits.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing electronics products, particularly for IOT applications. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience, particularly in PCB design and security clearance.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years' experience as an Electronics Design Engineer or similar.
• Proficiency in PCB Design and Schematic capture, ideally with Altium.
• Security Cleared (SC clearance) is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products from concept to manufacture.
• Work primarily on digital and analogue electronics focused on IOT.
• Collaborate with a team of Electronics Design Engineers.

Skills

PCB Design and Schematic capture

Experience with IOT devices

Experience with Ethernet, UART, I2C, SPI, LINbus or CANbus

Experience with Wi-Fi or BLE

Security Cleared (SC clearance)

Experience with AC/DC and DC/DC

EMC/EMI

CE certification

FCC certification

Experience with IPC2221B or similar PCB design standards

Experience with RED testing
