Job summary

Freetrade is expanding its mobile engineering team in London to build new features for the iOS app, alongside design, product and QE. You will contribute to a modern GraphQL-based backend and a cohesive SwiftUI-based UI.

You should have 3–5 years of production mobile experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid grasp of iOS architecture, CI practices, and collaborative development.

Qualifications

• Typically around 3–5 years of experience developing production-grade mobile applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a drive to continually improve.
• Good understanding of iOS architecture and common patterns.
• Experience with Swift, DI frameworks, and SwiftUI.
• Experience with Combine, Swift Concurrency or RxSwift.
• Familiarity with Human Interface Guidelines, Git and CI/build tooling (e.g. CircleCI).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of new features and maintain existing features of the iOS app, ensuring high performance, quality, security and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure robustness by writing tests and participating in code reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs to maintain code quality, organization, automation and releases.
