Selby Jennings is partnering with a specialist credit hedge fund in London to appoint an Investor Relations professional with approximately 3–6 years' experience in investor relations, client services, or related roles within asset management.

The hire will own day-to-day IR activities, acting as a key contact for existing investors while collaborating with portfolio management, operations, compliance, and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in investor relations, client services, investor servicing, fundraising support, or related functions within asset management.
• Experience with hedge funds, credit strategies, or alternative asset managers is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to engage institutional investors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for existing investors and prospective allocators.
• Manage investor queries and oversee timely delivery of information requests.
• Coordinate production and distribution of investor reporting materials, including monthly and quarterly updates.
• Support investor due diligence processes, including responding to DDQs, RFPs, and ad hoc information requests.
• Maintain and enhance investor presentation materials, marketing collateral, and fund documentation.
• Collaborate with investment, operations, finance, legal and compliance teams to ensure accurate investor communications.
• Assist with fundraising initiatives, investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and ongoing relationship management.

This is a broad and highly visible role that will suit an individual with approximately 3-6 years of experience across investor relations, client services, investor servicing, fundraising support, or related functions within asset management.

The successful candidate will take ownership of much of the firm's day-to-day investor relations activity, acting as a key point of contact for existing investors while working closely with portfolio management, operations, compliance, finance, and senior leadership. Given the boutique nature of the platform, the role offers significant exposure and responsibility from day one and would suit someone who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for existing investors and prospective allocators.
• Manage investor queries and oversee the timely delivery of information requests.
• Coordinate the production and distribution of investor reporting materials, including monthly and quarterly updates.

• Maintain investor databases and CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and accurate record keeping.
• Contribute to wider strategic initiatives across the business as required.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately 3-6 years of experience within investor relations, client services, investor servicing, fundraising support, or a related role within asset management.
• Prior exposure to hedge funds, credit strategies, alternative asset managers, private credit, or broader institutional investment management environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with institutional investors and internal stakeholders.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to take ownership of a broad range of responsibilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
• Strong written communication skills and experience preparing investor-facing materials.
• Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
