Role Purpose

• Asset Operations supports Portfolio Management and Trading teams investing in Fixed Income, Private Equity / Private Credit, and Private Debt structured assets.
• Ensure IBOR records are accurate and aligned to support timely and informed investment decisions.
• Support internal stakeholders: front office teams, finance and accounting, and other investment operations departments.
• Manage relationships with external providers: custodians, fund accounting, and external investment managers.

Main Responsibilities

Cash Reconciliation and Payments

• Utilize Aladdin for cash flow bookings, forecasting, and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate cash records within IBOR.
• Liaise with Asset Operations, Derivative Operations, and custodians regarding trade breaks, settlement delays, and collateral movements.

Position Management

• Use Aladdin to reconcile custody and fund system balances against IBOR.
• Maintain accurate position records and liaise with relevant teams for discrepancies.

Income Servicing

• Reconcile holdings to payout schedules and track income payments.

Corporate Actions

• Monitor notifications, create events in Aladdin, and coordinate elections with custodians and front office.

Accountabilities

• Reconciliation across investment platforms and custody.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with market counterparties and providers.
• Maintain accurate Investment Book of Records and deliver BAU tasks timely.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and pursue ongoing learning and industry awareness.

Requirements

Knowledge

• Trade lifecycle management of Fixed Income and Money Market Products.
• Experience with cash processes, custodian portals, corporate actions, KYC/AML, OTC derivatives, and collateral management.
• Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and familiarity with Aladdin systems.

Skills

• Strong organizational, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy in dynamic environments.

Experience

• Experience with pre and post-trade lifecycle, reconciliation, and cash movements in Aladdin.
• Understanding of SWIFT, stakeholder relationship management, and process improvement.
