Job Description
A day in your future job:
Reconciliation
- Daily reconciliation of all portfolios
- Maintenance of accurate client accounts, cash, and securities in the portfolio management system
Middle Office
- Settling trades in a timely manner
- Ensuring portfolios are hedged correctly
- Calculating hedging exposure on portfolios where required
- Instructing FX transactions
- Completing margin payments in a timely manner as per CSA agreements
- Ensuring positions are impacted accordingly by different corporate events
- Researching potential investments and market trends
- Preparing process documents related to new client accounts, implementation of money movements, and other client account maintenance requests
Corporate Actions
- Monitoring corporate action events impacting stocks held by portfolios
- Ensuring all income (dividends and interests) are paid onto accounts upon due date
- Notifying portfolio managers of any voluntary corporate events
- Instructing voluntary corporate events to different custodians
Reporting
- Completing regulatory reporting in a timely manner (MiFID, EMIR, FINFRAG…)
- Providing ad-hoc reports for portfolio managers, compliance, or risk management
Qualifications
Your assets to succeed:
- 2-3 years of experience within a similar role, including trade support, reconciliation, corporate action, cash management, regulatory reporting
- Technical competencies: CTM / Alert / AIM
- Personal competencies: committed problem solver, autonomous
- Fluent in English and proficient in spoken and written French
- IT skills: Bloomberg AIM, PowerBi
